This page contains the current position that Mobility Physiotherapy Limited is taking based on the latest government and our professional body guidance to ensure the health and safety of our patients.
Being a company focussed on health, the safety and wellbeing of our patients is of the utmost importance to us.
We have been advised due to physiotherapy treatment requiring us to be within 2 metres of our patients that we should predominantly be assessing and treating our patients via a virtual approach. This is due to the risk of virus transmission during face to face physiotherapy is highly likely to be the close contact.
As such we will be performing an initial screening for all patients via telephone to decide whether a face to face Physiotherapy sessions is necessary. On completion of the screening and in accordance with guidance of our professional body, we will offer a face to face appointment if we feel that the benefit of it outweighs the risk of catching COVID-19 for both patient and Physiotherapist. This will only be for emergency.
Before confirming a face to face appointment, we will also discuss with our patients the risks of contact and measures that will be taken to mitigate risk.
Any face to face appointments will be at the patient’s home.
We will continue to review the situation and keep you informed of our current practice.
If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us and we hope that we can help you.
