Hello my name is Kerry Archer. I graduated from the University of Teesside in 2007 and have worked in the NHS for the past 18 years and have a range of specialist skills. These include physiotherapy, symptom and side effect management and exercise for people before, during and after their cancer treatment, physiotherapy for respiratory conditions (including breathlessness management and secretion clearance) and functional rehabilitation for those who may have deconditioned due to illness or injury. I have a specialist interest in rehabilitation following stoma formation.
In addition to this I am a qualified scar therapist offering treatment for those with pain and limited movement as a result of their scar. I am an HCPC certified physiotherapist and a member of the Charted Society of Physiotherapists working in the York area. I provide in-home physiotherapy and exercise sessions. Please ask for availability and travel area.
Away from work I love to spend time outdoors with my partner and son as well as keeping fit through running, cycling and Pilates.
